Health and Safety Training Customized to Meet Your Needs
Comp Advantage Inc offers a full range of Occupational Health and Safety Training programs, all of which can be customized to reflect your organization’s policies and procedures.
Certification Training Comp Advantage Inc has been delivering WSIB-approved Part 1 – Basic Certification and Part 2 – Workplace Specific Hazard Training since 1997. During the past 13 years, over 12,000 Ontario workers have successfully completed our Certification Training programs.
We have recently combined our Health Care related Part 2 programs to reflect the changing nature of health care delivery in Ontario. Our Workplace Specific Hazard Training program for Long Term Care, Community Care and Group Homes includes the following modules:

- Musculoskeletal Disorders and Work Design

For 2010, Comp Advantage Inc will be offering the following programs:
- Basic Certification Training

- Workplace Specific Hazard Training for Office Workplaces
Programs are available in both classroom and individual study/distance learning formats.

Basic Certification for Joint Health and Safety Committees
This WSIB-approved Basic program is offered in a two-day classroom format (minimum 10 participants, maximum 30) or a self-directed correspondence course format.

Workplace Specific Hazard Training
After a Workplace Hazard Assessment has been completed, at least two members of the Joint Health and Safety Committee – one representing the employer and one representing the workers – must complete training that provides them will the knowledge and skills needed to make recommendations to the employer for controlling identified significant hazards.
