Certification Training

Comp Advantage Inc has delivered WSIB-approved Part 1 – Basic Certification and Part 2 – Workplace Specific Hazard Training since 1997. Over 13,000 Ontario workers have successfully completed our Certification Training programs.

Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires that every workplace joint health and safety committee (JHSC) must have at least one worker and one management representative trained in the fundamentals of health and safety (Part 1 – Basic Certification). Both members must also be trained in workplace-specific hazards (Part 2 Certification). Certification is recommended as well for managers, supervisors and other JHSC members to provide a more effective health and safety environment and ensure compliance to the minimum (OHSA) requirements at all times.

Comp Advantage Inc offers Part 1 Basic Certification and Part 2 Workplace Specific Hazard training in different formats as follows:
  • Self directed individual Study/distance learning correspondence format
To Register: download the registration form in pdf format.
  • Private, at your site classroom sessions with discussion for groups of 10 or more.
Please contact Elsa Munn at 1-800-361-2667 or emunn@compadvantageinc.com for further information or to arrange private, on-site training at reduced rates.
